NFX1 Antibody (MA5-55832) in WB

Western blot analysis of NFX1 in 15 µg of SK-OV-3 lysate. Sample was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane, and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. NFX1 band was visualized using ECL Western Blotting Substrate. Incubation with primary NFX1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-55832) at a dilution of 1 µg/mL was used.

MHC class II gene expression is controlled primarily at the transcriptional level by transcription factors that bind to the X and Y boxes, two highly conserved elements in the proximal promoter of MHC class II genes. NFX1 is a transcriptional repressor capable of binding to the conserved X box motif of HLA-DRA and other MHC class II genes in vitro.
