NIM1 Antibody (PA5-106735) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of NIM1 in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with NIM1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106735) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

NIM1K serine/threonine kinase or NIM1 belongs to CAMK kinase family. Unlike to other AMPK-related kinases, NIM1 cannot be phosphorylated and activated by LKB1. Two somatic mutations (P333S and P411T) were found in lung neuroendocrine carcinoma and lung large cell carcinoma samples. NIM1 gene ontology (GO) annotations include cellular response to glucose starvation; intracellular signal transduction; negative regulation of TOR signaling; protein phosphorylation.
