NSF Antibody (A305-261A) in IP
Detection of human NSF by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-NSF antibody (Product # A305-261A) (lot 1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. NSF was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-NSF antibodies BL20744 and BL20747. For blotting immunoprecipitated NSF, A305-261A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Required for vesicle-mediated transport. Catalyzes the fusion of transport vesicles within the Golgi cisternae. Is also required for transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi stack. Seem to function as a fusion protein required for the delivery of cargo proteins to all compartments of the Golgi stack independent of vesicle origin.
