Immunohistochemistry analysis of Neutrophil elastase in paraffin-embedded Human colon carcinoma. Samples were incubated with Neutrophil elastase polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-87158) using a dilution of 1:25. Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Target Information
The neutrophil form of elastase is 218 amino acids long, with two asparagine-linked carbohydrate chains (see glycosylation). It is present in azurophil granules in the neutrophil cytoplasm. There appear to be two forms of neutrophil elastase, termed IIa and IIb.
