PI4KB Antibody (PA5-49603) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of PI4KB in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle. Samples were incubated with PI4KB polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-49603) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

PI4KB and PI4KA are the two human type III PI4 kinases, which share sequence similarly with PI3 kinases and phosphorylate the 4 position of phosphotidyl inositol. Transporter for alanine, serine, cysteine, and threonine. Exhibits sodium dependence. Target protein phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol (PtdIns) at the D4 position of the inositol ring; may play a role in neuronal differentiation and maturation.
