PIK3CA Antibody (PA5-88576) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of PIK3CA in paraffin-embedded human breast cancer using. Samples were incubated with PIK3CA Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-88576) using a dilution of 1:100 (40x lens). Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase is composed of an 85 kDa regulatory subunit and a 110 kDa catalytic subunit. The protein encoded by this gene represents the catalytic subunit, which uses ATP to phosphorylate PtdIns, PtdIns4P and PtdIns(4,5)P2. This gene has been found to be oncogenic and has been implicated in cervical cancers.
