PTAFR Antibody (PA5-25329) in WB
Western blot analysis of PTAFR in A549 whole cell lysate. Samples were incubated with PTAFR polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-25329) using a dilution of 1:1,000 followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 20 µg per lane. Predicted band size: 39 kDa. Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.

PTAFR shows structural characteristics of the rhodopsin gene family and binds platelet-activating factor (PAF). PAF is a phospholipid (1-0-alkyl-2-acetyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphorylcholine) that has been implicated as a mediator in diverse pathologic processes, such as allergy, asthma, septic shock, arterial thrombosis, and inflammatory processes.
