Phospho-CaMKI (Thr177) Antibody (PA5-105644) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Phospho-CaMKI (Thr177) in mouse kidney tissue sections. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with Phospho-CaMKI (Thr177) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-105644) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of CaMK1 alpha only when phosphorylated at Thr177.

CAMK1 (CaMK1) is a serine/threonine kinase that is a member of the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. It is involved in cell differentiation, nervous system development, and signal transduction. CAMK1 is expressed in many tissues and is a component of a calmodulin-dependent protein kinase cascade. Calcium/calmodulin directly activates calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase I by binding to the enzyme and indirectly promotes the phosphorylation and synergistic activation of the enzyme by calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase I kinase.
