Phospho-STMN2 (Ser73) Antibody (PA5-106045) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Phospho-STMN2 (Ser73) in mouse brain tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with Phospho-STMN2 (Ser73) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106045) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

STMN2, also known as SCG-10, is a neuronal growth-associated protein that shares significant amino acid sequence similarity with the phosphoprotein stathmin. STMN2 may play a role in neuronal differentiation, and in modulating membrane interaction with the cytoskeleton during neurite outgrowth. Reductions in the expression of this gene have been associated with Down's syndrome and Alzheimer's disease.
