Product Specific Information
Lyophilized antibody can be stored at -20°C for up to 3 years. Re-constituted antibody can be stored at 4°C for several days to weeks. Once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
For reconstitution add 50 µL of sterile water.

Psc, Polycomb group protein Psc, is a chromatin regulator best characterized in animals as a core Polycomb repressive complex component that maintains transcriptional silencing of developmental genes through histone modification and chromatin compaction. It contributes to stable epigenetic memory of cell identity by promoting H2A ubiquitination with PRC1 and cooperating with PRC2 mediated H3K27 methylation. Plant genomes encode distinct Polycomb proteins rather than a direct Psc ortholog, but analogous PRC1 like and PRC2 complexes perform similar gene silencing functions to control meristem maintenance, flowering time, seed development, and stress responses. In plant associated datasets, a Psc annotation typically indicates animal or microbial origin, or a comparative reference to Polycomb repression rather than a native plant gene.
