Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human sRANK Receptor. Anti-Human sRANK Receptor-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human sRANK Receptor matrix.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human sRANK Receptor by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human sRANK Receptor (500-P144Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human sRANK Receptor.
Western Blot: To detect Human sRANK Receptor by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1- 0.2 µg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human sRANK Receptor is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
RANK is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) family. The full length mouse RANK cDNA encodes a type I transmembrane protein with an extracellular and a cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular domain contains two potential N-linked glycosylation sites. RANK shares significant amino acid homology with other members of the TNFR family in its extracellular four cysteine-rich repeats. Human and murine RANK share 81% amino acid identity in their extracellular domains.
