RASAL2 Antibody (A302-108A) in IP
Detection of human RASAL2 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RASAL2 antibody (Product # A302-108A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. RASAL2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-RASAL2 antibody A302-109A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated RASAL2, A302-109A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
This gene encodes a protein that contains the GAP-related domain (GRD), a characteristic domain of GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs). GAPs function as activators of Ras superfamily of small GTPases. The protein encoded by this gene is able to complement the defective RasGAP function in a yeast system. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
