For reconstitution, add sterile, distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of 1 mg/mL. Gently shake to solubilize the protein completely. Do not vortex. Reconstituted products should be stored at -80 °.
This antibody can also be cross referenced by the term 19G9.
RG1 refers to a conserved peptide epitope derived from the minor capsid protein L2 of human papillomavirus (HPV), typically spanning amino acids 17-36. This region is highly conserved across multiple HPV types and can induce broadly cross-neutralizing antibodies. Unlike L1-based vaccines, which are largely type-specific, the RG1 epitope has been explored in next-generation HPV vaccine strategies aimed at providing broader protection against diverse high-risk and low-risk HPV strains. As a result, RG1 is studied as a promising target for pan-HPV immunization approaches.
