Raptor Antibody (600-401-DW6) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence Microscopy of Raptor antibody. Cell Type: L1210 cells. Fixation: 0.5% PFA. Antigen retrieval: not required. Primary antibody: Raptor antibody at 10 µg/mL for 1 hr at RT. Secondary antibody: Fluorescein rabbit secondary antibody at 1:10,000 for 45 min at RT. Localization: Raptor is cytoplasmic and lysosomic. Staining: Raptor as green fluorescent signal with bis-benzamide (blue) nuclear counterstain.

Regulatory associated protein of mTOR (RAPTOR) is a binding partner of target of rapamycin (TOR). It binds to 4EBP1 and p70alpha. The binding of raptor to mTOR is essential for the mTOR-catalyzed phosphorylation of 4EBP1 in vitro. It enhances the mTOR kinase activity toward p70alpha. It is also an essential scaffold for the mTOR-catalyzed phosphorylation of 4EBP1 and mediates TOR action in vivo.
