Ruplizumab Antibody (MA5-47965) in WB
Western Blot analysis of Ruplizumab was performed using Ruplizumab Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-47965). Rat spleen (lane 1), rat muscle (lane 2), rat bladder (lane 3), human breast tumor (lane 4) and human thyroid tumor (lane 5) samples were resolved on a 10% SDS PAGE gel and blots probed with Ruplizumab Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody at 1 µg/mL before being detected by a secondary antibody. The expected band size (29 kDa) is seen in the human-derived samples, as well as bands corresponding to dimers and other multimers.

Ruplizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody used as an immunosuppressive pharmaceutical and is a component of Antova. Ruplizumab is an anti-CD40L monoclonal antibody. The binding of CD40 to its ligand, CD40L is a critical element in T cell activation. In systemic lupus erythematosus, CD40L is over-expressed on T cells, B cells and monocytes.
