SARS-CoV-2 ORF9b Antibody (PA5-116951) in WB
Western blot analysis of SARS-CoV-2 ORF9b in extracts of normal 293T cells 293T transfected with ORF9b Protein. Samples were incubated with SARS-CoV-2 ORF9b Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-116951) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

ORF9b plays a role in the inhibition of host innate immune response by targeting the mitochondrial-associated adapter MAVS. Mechanistically, usurps the E3 ligase ITCH to trigger the degradation of MAVS, TRAF3, and TRAF6. In addition, causes mitochondrial elongation by triggering ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of dynamin-like protein 1/DNM1L.
