SEC23A Antibody (PA5-143936) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of SEC23A in HEPG2 cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were then incubated in SEC23A Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-143936) using a dilution of 5 μg/mL. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human HepG2 whole cell, human HEK293 whole cell, human A549 whole cell, human PC-3 whole cell, rat liver tissue, rat stomach tissue, rat lung tissue, mouse liver tissue. Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the SEC23 subfamily of the SEC23/SEC24 family. It is part of a protein complex and found in the ribosome-free transitional face of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and associated vesicles. This protein has similarity to yeast Sec23p component of COPII. COPII is the coat protein complex responsible for vesicle budding from the ER. The encoded protein is suggested to play a role in the ER-Golgi protein trafficking.
