SERPINA6 Antibody (PA5-47568) in IHC (F)
Immunohistochemical analysis of SERPINA6 in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse liver. Samples were incubated in SERPINA6 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47568) using a dilution of 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific labeling was localized to the cytoplasm of hepatocytes.

In direct ELISAs, approximately 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat Serpin A6 is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Serpin A1 and rhSerpin A5 is observed. In Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Serpin A4 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

This gene encodes an alpha-globulin protein with corticosteroid-binding properties. This is the major transport protein for glucorticoids and progestins in the blood of most vertebrates. The gene localizes to a chromosomal region containing several closely related serine protease inhibitors which may have evolved by duplication events.
