SLCO2A1 Antibody (PA5-98789) in WB
Western Blot analysis of SLCO2A1 using a SLCO2A1 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98789) at a concentration of 2.7 µg/mL. Positive WB detected in: Hela whole cell lysate, MCF-7 whole cell lysate, 293T whole cell lysate, HepG2 whole cell lysate, U87 whole cell lysate, K562 whole cell lysate, Rat brain tissue, Mouse heart tissue, Mouse liver tissue. A secondary Goat polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG was applied at a 1:50,000 dilution. Observed band size: 71 kDa.

Prostaglandin transporter (PGT), also known as SLCO2A1, has been identified as a functional prostaglandin (PG) carrier that mediates either the release of newly-synthesized PGs by cells and/or the uptake of PGs prior to intracellular oxidation. Northern blot analysis revealed that PGT mRNA has broad tissue distribution, suggesting its role in the transport and/ or metabolic clearance of PG in diverse tissues (8787677).
