SMARCAL1 Antibody (A301-616A) in WB
Detection of human SMARCAL1 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and HEK293T (T; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SMARCAL1 antibody (Product # A301-616A) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL (A) and 0.1 µg/mL (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. SMARCAL1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SMARCAL1 antibody BL4539, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 minutes (A and B).

PRKCQ is a calcium-independent, novel isoform that is important in transducing signals in T lymphocytes. Interaction of a T lymphocyte with an antigen-presenting cell results in clustering of the T cell antigen receptor (TCR) and the recruitment of a large signaling complex to the site of cell-cell contact. PRKCQ is essential for TCR-mediated activation. PKC theta plays a role in pathways that link the TCR signaling complex to the activation of NF-kappa B in mature T lymphocytes.
