Western Blot using SNW1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-118274) at 1:500 dilution. Lane A: HeLa Whole Cell Lysate, Lane B: HEK293 Whole Cell Lysate, Lane C: HepG2 Whole Cell Lysate, Lane D: Jurkat Whole Cell Lysate. Lysates/proteins at 30 μg per lane. Secondary antibody: Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 61 kDa. Observed band size: 72 kDa.

CSTF2 is one of three (including CSTF1 and CSTF3) cleavage stimulation factors which combine to form CSTF which is involved in the polyadenylation and 3'end cleavage of pre-mRNAs. CSTF2 contains a ribonucleoprotein-type RNA binding domain. CSTF2 is upregulated during activation of B cells which results in the switch of IgM heavy chain mRNA from membrane bound form to the secreted form.
