SULT1B1 Antibody (PA5-47796) in WB
Western blot analysis of SULT1B1 in human CD4+ T Cells and human liver tissue. Samples were incubated in SULT1B1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47796) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for Cytosolic Sulfotransferase 1B1/SULT1B1 at approximately 36 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) SULT1A1 and rhSULT1A3 is observed and less than 2% cross-reactivity with rhSULT2A1, rhSULT4A1, rhSULT2B1, and rhSULT1E1 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes are different in their tissue distributions and substrate specificities. The gene structure is similar among family members. However, the total genomic length of this gene is greater than that of other SULT1 genes.
