TAS2R46 Antibody (PA5-99956) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of TAS2R46 in human kidney cancer and adjacent normal tissues. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with TAS2R46 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-99956) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total TAS2R46.
靶标信息
Receptor that may play a role in the perception of bitterness and is gustducin-linked. May play a role in sensing the chemical composition of the gastrointestinal content. The activity of this receptor may stimulate alpha gustducin, mediate PLC-beta-2 activation and lead to the gating of TRPM5. Expressed in subsets of taste receptor cells of the tongue and exclusively in gustducin-positive cells. Most taste cells may be activated by a limited number of bitter compounds; individual taste cells can discriminate among bitter stimuli.
