Detection of human TBL3 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, and Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TBL3 antibody (Product # A304-777A) (lot A304-777A-1) used for WB at 0.4 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

WNK is a serine/threonine kinase that plays an important role in the regulation of electrolyte homeostasis, cell signaling, survival, and proliferation. Also, acts as an activator and inhibitor of sodium-coupled chloride cotransporters and potassium-coupled chloride cotransporters respectively. Activates SCNN1A, SCNN1B, SCNN1D, and SGK1. WNK localizes to a segment of kidney involved in salt, potassium, and pH homeostasis, the distal nephron. Mutations in the WNK gene result in Pseudohypaldosteronism and Neuropathy.
