Lyophilized antibody can be stored at -20°C for up to 3 years. Once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
For reconstitution add 50 µL of sterile water.

TIM8 is a small mitochondrial intermembrane space chaperone that forms a TIM8 TIM13 complex to guide hydrophobic precursor proteins to the TIM22 insertion machinery in plants. By stabilizing carrier proteins and other multi pass inner membrane substrates during import, TIM8 supports assembly of metabolite transporters and maintains mitochondrial bioenergetics. Its cysteine rich motifs coordinate metal ions for structural stability, and proper function depends on oxidative folding pathways in the intermembrane space. Plant TIM8 expression aligns with energy demand and development, and perturbation impairs carrier insertion, affecting respiration, metabolite exchange, stress tolerance, and growth due to compromised inner membrane protein biogenesis.
