TMOD1 Antibody (PA5-92151) in WB
Western blot analysis of TMOD1 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with TMOD1 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-92151) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 15s.

TMOD1 gene encodes a member of the tropomodulin family. The encoded protein is an actin-capping protein that regulates tropomyosin by binding to its N-terminus, inhibiting depolymerization and elongation of the pointed end of actin filaments and thereby influencing the structure of the erythrocyte membrane skeleton. Multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
