TNP1 Antibody (PA5-100119) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded TNP1 in rat liver tissue. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with TNP1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100119) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

TNP1 is a spermatid-specific product of the haploid genome which replaces histone and is itself replaced in the mature sperm by the protamines. Transition protein-1 is a spermatid-specific product of the haploid genome which replaces histone and is itself replaced in the mature sperm by the protamines (see PRM1, MIM 182880; PRM2, MIM 182890) (Luerssen et al., 1990 ). Sequence Note: removed 4 bases from the 5' end that did not align to the reference genome assembly.
