UTS2 Antibody (PA5-102735) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of UTS2 in mouse brain tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with UTS2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-102735) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

靶标信息
Urotensin II is an active cyclic heptapeptide absolutely conserved from lamprey to human. The active peptide acts as a vasoconstrictor and is expressed only in brain tissue. Despite the gene family name similarity, this gene is not homologous to urocortin, a member of the sauvagine/corticotropin releasing factor/urotensin I family. Most of the proprotein is cleaved to make the mature peptide.
