Vps15 Antibody (A302-570A) in IP
Detection of human Vps15 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Vps15 antibody (Product # A302-570A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. Vps15 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-Vps15 antibody A302-571A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated Vps15, A302-571A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
Regulatory subunit of the PI3K complex that mediates formation of phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate; different complex forms are believed to play a role in multiple membrane trafficking pathways: PI3KC3-C1 is involved in initiation of autophagosomes and PI3KC3-C2 in maturation of autophagosomes and endocytosis. Involved in regulation of degradative endocytic trafficking and cytokinesis, probably in the context of PI3KC3-C2 (PubMed:20643123). [UniProt]
