WDHD1/AND-1 Antibody (A301-140A) in IP
Detection of human WDHD1/AND-1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-WDHD1/AND-1 antibody (Product # A301-140A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. WDHD1/AND-1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-WDHD1/AND-1 antibody A301-141A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated WDHD1/AND-1, A301-141A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

The protein encoded by this gene contains multiple N-terminal WD40 domains and a C-terminal high mobility group (HMG) box. WD40 domains are found in a variety of eukaryotic proteins and may function as adaptor/regulatory modules in signal transduction, pre-mRNA processing and cytoskeleton assembly. HMG boxes are found in many eukaryotic proteins involved in chromatin assembly, transcription and replication. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
