It appears that I am currently unable to retrieve data. However, I will provide a summary based on existing knowledge of the 14-3-3 alpha/beta gene, also known as YWHAB.

The 14-3-3 proteins, including isoforms such as alpha/beta, are a family of conserved regulatory molecules expressed in all eukaryotic cells. The YWHAB gene, located on chromosome 20q13.12, encodes one of the seven isoforms of the 14-3-3 protein family. This protein plays a critical role in signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. Structurally, the 14-3-3 proteins function as dimers, each monomer comprising nine anti-parallel a-helices. The 14-3-3 proteins are involved in a wide range of cellular processes, including cell cycle control, apoptosis, and stress responses. Their ability to interact with a multitude of different signaling proteins, including kinases, phosphatases, and transmembrane receptors, underscores their importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating cellular responses to external stimuli.
