ANKRA2 Antibody (CF808378) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY ANKRA2 (RC204384, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-ANKRA. Positive lysates LY411499 (100 µg) and LC411499 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

This protein may facilitate endocytosis by linking megalin to components of the cytoskeleton or endocytic machinery. ANKRA2 is a megalin- and BKCa potassium channel-interacting factor. It is a protein known to interact with HDAC4 and HDAC5.ANKRA2 is important for transcriptional repression by AhRR.
