Detection of human BRPF3 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from U2OS, Hep-G2, K-562, and Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-BRPF3 antibody (Product # A304-082A; lot 2) used for WB at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds.

Plays a role in DNA replication initiation by directing KAT7/HBO1 specificity towards histone H3 'Lys-14' acetylation (H3K14ac), thereby facilitating the activation of replication origins (PubMed:26620551).
