Immunofluorescent analysis of CCDC104 showing staining in the cytoplasm of Raji cells. Raji cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min and stained using a CCDC104 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-35863) diluted at 1:500. Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining.

The CCDC104 (Coiled-coil domain-containing protein 104) protein, whose function is unknown, is expressed in various human tissues, including the brain, and is localized mainly to the nucleus, but is also found in the cytoplasm. It may act as an effector for ARL3. This protein has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
