CLK1 Antibody (PA5-101117) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of CLK1 in A549 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with CLK1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-101117) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

CLK1 is a dual specificity kinase that phosphorylates PTP-1B and members of the SR family of splicing factors. It is thought to be involved in neuronal differentiation and mRNA splicing. Therefore, the encoded protein may play an indirect role in governing splice site selection.
