Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HeLa cells using CRTAP antibody (Product # 15724-1-AP) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). F-actin was stained using CL594-phalloidin (red) and DNA was stained by DAPI (blue).

The encoded protein is a scaffolding protein that may influence the activity of at least one member of the cytohesin/ARNO family in response to specific cellular stimuli. Defects in this gene are associated with osteogenesis imperfecta, a connective tissue disorder characterized by bone fragility and low bone mass.
