651109 is a mixture of monoclonal antibodies that target Desmoplakin 1/2.
Specificity: distinct punctate membrane staining of different epithelia. Desmosomes of the myocardium are also positive. Tumors specifically detected: Primary and metastatic carcinoma and meningioma. Polypeptides reacting: Desmoplakin 1 and 2 (MW 250 000 and 215 000)Reactivity on cultured cell lines: Several human carcinoma cell lines: MCF-7,A-431, HaCaT, CaCo2; bovine cells: MDBK, BMGE.
靶标信息
Desmoplakin (DSP) is a major high molecular weight protein of the desmosomes. It is involved in the organization of the desmosomal cadherin-plakoglobin complexes into discrete plasma membrane domains and in the anchoring of intermediate filaments to the desmosomes. Desmoplakin mutations are associated with Keratoderma and cardiomyopathy.
