FRG1 Antibody (MA5-52932) in WB
Western Blot analysis of FRG1. Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with FRG1 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-52932) with a dilution of 1:5,000, followed by HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody with a dilution of 1:20,000. Image was developed using FeQTM ECL Substrate Kit.

This gene maps to a location 100 kb centromeric of the repeat units on chromosome 4q35 which are deleted in facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy . It is evolutionarily conserved and has related sequences on multiple human chromosomes but DNA sequence analysis did not reveal any homology to known genes. In vivo studies demonstrate the encoded protein is localized to the nucleolus.
