GLUT9 Antibody (PA5-89925) in WB
Western blot analysis of GLUT9 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with GLUT9 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-89925) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit. Exposure time: 6 min.

GLUT9, or SLC2A9, is a member of the SLC2A facilitative glucose transporter family. Members of this family play a significant role in maintaining glucose homeostasis. GLUT9 may play a role in the development and survival of chondrocytes in cartilage matrices. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
