GUSB Antibody (PA5-106619) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of GUSB in rat ovarian tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with GUSB polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106619) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

The GUSB gene encodes beta-glucuronidase (EC 3.2.1.31), a lysosomal hydrolase involved in the stepwise degradation of glucuronic acid-containing glycosaminoglycans. It is a tetrameric glycoprotein composed of identical subunits. The GUSB gene is mutated in mucopolysaccharidosis type VII (MPS7; MIM 253220).
