IFNAR1 Antibody (PA5-47436) in Neu
Neutralization of IFNAR1 in L‚929 mouse fibroblast cell line. Samples were incubated in IFNAR1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47436). Recombinant Mouse Limitin reduces the Encephalomyocarditis Virus (EMCV)-induced cytopathy in the L‚929 mouse fibroblast cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Inhibition of EMCV activity elicited by Recombinant Mouse Limitin (30 pg/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Mouse IFN‚α/β R1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody. The ND50 is typically 1-4 µg/mL.

In direct ELISAs, less than 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) IFN- alpha / beta R2, rmIFN-gamma R1, and rmIFN-gamma R2 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.

Interferons are widely used therapeutic agents because of their anti tumor and antiviral effects and because of their modulatory effects on the immune system (Biron,2001, Kirkwood, 2002). These cytokines produce their effects by binding to the Type 1 Interferon-& Receptor (IFNAR1). Down regulation of this receptor plays a key role in determining the magnitude and duration of cytokine signaling. This down regulation is thought to be influenced by phosphorylation of Serine 535 and 539 in the IFNAR1 (Kumar et al., 2003).
