ITGA8 Antibody (PA5-47572) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of ITGA8 in immersion fixed 4T1 mouse breast cancer cell line. Samples were incubated in ITGA8 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47572) using a dilution of 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI(blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.

In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 30% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Integrin alpha 8 is observed, and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhIntegrin alpha 5, recombinant mouse (rm) Integrin alpha 5, rhIntegrin alpha V and rmIntegrin alpha V is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Integrin alpha-8/beta-1 functions in the genesis of kidney and probably of other organs by regulating the recruitment of mesenchymal cells into epithelial structures. It recognizes the sequence R-G-D in a wide array of ligands including TNC, FN1, SPP1 TGF.
