Specificity: Rat Anti-Mouse GR-1, as known as anti-mouse Ly-6G/Ly-6C (Clone RB6-8C5) has been used to identify peripheral blood neutrophils and deplete granulocytes in vivo. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Endotoxin Level: ≤ 1.0 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method. Purity: >95% by SDS Page; ≥95% monomer by analytical SEC.
Product Preparation: Functional grade preclinical antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro protein free cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates.
Storage and Handling: Functional grade preclinical antibodies may be stored sterile as received at 2-8 C for up to one month. For longer term storage, aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at -80 C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
This antibody has been tested in the following applications: Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry-Fresh Frozen, Depletion, CyTOF®.

Granulocytes are a category of white blood cells characterised by the presence of granules in their cytoplasm. They are also called polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN or PML) because of the varying shapes of the nucleus, which is usually lobed into three segments. In common parlance, the term polymorphonuclear leukocyte often refers specifically to neutrophil granulocytes, the most abundant of the granulocytes. Granulocytes or PMN are released from the bone marrow by the regulatory complement proteins.
