MEPE Antibody (PA5-47460) in Neu
Neutralization of MEPE in ATDC5 mouse chondrogenic cell line. Samples were incubated in MEPE polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47460). Recombinant Human MEPE, immobilized onto a microplate, supports the adhesion of the ATDC5 mouse chondrogenic cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Adhesion elicited by Recombinant Human MEPE (2 µg/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Goat Anti-Human MEPE Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody. The ND50 is typically 2‚6 µg/mL.

Matrix extracellular phosphoglycoprotein (MEPE), also known as osteoblast/osteocyte factor 45 (OF45), is a member of the small integrin-binding ligand N-linked glycoprotein (SIBLING) family. MEPE promotes renal phosphate excretion and modulates mineralization. It can be phosphorylated by secreted protein kinases. MEPE is expressed in osteoblasts, osteocytes and odontoblasts, and the expression has also been reported in numerous human tumor cell lines. It is a 525-amino acid protein with a calculated molecular weight of 58 kDa.
