MYH11 Antibody (711574) in WB
Western blot analysis was performed on Tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Colon (Lane 1), Rat Muscle (Lane 2) and Mouse Heart (Lane 3). The blots were probed with Anti-MYH11 Recombinant Rabbit Superclonal™ Antibody (Product # 711574, 1-2 µg/mL) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.4 µg/mL, 1:2500 dilution). SM-MHC is a cytoplasmic structural protein, which is a major component of the contractile apparatus in smooth muscle cells. Expression of smooth muscle myosin is developmently regulated, appearing early in smooth muscle development, and is specific for smooth muscle development. Two isoforms of smooth muscle myosin heavy chain have been identified, designated MHC-1 and MHC-2.
