P2X4 Antibody (PA5-111825) in WB
Western Blot analysis of P2X4 was performed in rat brain (lanes 1 and 4), mouse brain (lanes 2 and 5) and human U-87 MG glioblastoma cell (lanes 3 and 6) lysates. Lane 1,2: P2X4 Antibody (Product # PA5-111825) at a dilution of 1:500. Lane 3: P2X4 Antibody at a dilution of 1:1000. Lane 4-6: P2X4 Antibody, preincubated with the negative control antigen.

Reconstitute antibody with 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW). The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4 degrees C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, small aliquots should be stored at -20 degrees C. Avoid multiple freezing and thawing. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 x g 5 min).

The product of this gene belongs to the family of purinoceptors for ATP. This receptor functions as a ligand-gated ion channel with high calcium permeability. The main pharmacological distinction between the members of the purinoceptor family is the relative sensitivity to the antagonists suramin and PPADS. The product of this gene has the lowest sensitivity for these antagonists. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene although their full-length natures have not been determined.
