Sheep anti propranolol antibody recognizes Propranolol, a non-selective beta blocker used for the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris (Manu and Rogozea 2106).

Propranolol was the first successful beta blocker developed. It is a non-cardioselective beta-adrenergic antagonist widely used in the treatment and prevention of many disorders, including acute myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, angina pectoris, hypertension, hypertensive emergencies, hyperthyroidism, migraine, pheochromocytoma, menopause, and anxiety.
