RAB6A Antibody (PA5-80963) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence staining of RAB6A in HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with RAB6A Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-80963, 1:1,000) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm.

Rab proteins are also an integral part of endocytic pathways. Rab 6A is a ubiquitously expressed member of the Rab family of proteins and localizes to the Golgi membrane where it regulates retrograde transport from the late endosomes via the Golgi to endoplasmic reticulum (ER) pathway. Three isoforms exist due to alternative splicing events, namely the ubiquitously expressed isoforms Rab 6A' and Rab 6A, and the brain-specific isoform Rab 6B.
