SPECC1L Antibody (A304-618A) in IP
Detection of human SPECC1L by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SPECC1L antibody (Product # A304-618A) (lot 1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. SPECC1L was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SPECC1L antibody BL17658. For blotting immunoprecipitated SPECC1L, A304-618A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

This gene encodes a protein that is leucine-rich and is thought to play a role in regulating the interaction of the cytoskeleton with a variety of cellular processes. Mutations in this gene are associated with the French-Canadian type of Leigh syndrome. Transcripts ranging in size from 4. 8 to 7. 0 kb which result from alternative polyadenylation have been reported for this gene.
