SPECC1L Antibody (PA5-71641) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of SPECC1 in U-251MG cells using confocal microscopy. Samples were incubated with SPECC1 H1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-71641) followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green) as a secondary antibody. Actin filaments have been labeled with Alexa Fluor 555 phalloidin (red). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).

This gene encodes a protein that is leucine-rich and is thought to play a role in regulating the interaction of the cytoskeleton with a variety of cellular processes. Mutations in this gene are associated with the French-Canadian type of Leigh syndrome. Transcripts ranging in size from 4. 8 to 7. 0 kb which result from alternative polyadenylation have been reported for this gene.
